  • To reboot the Xperia XZ, press and hold the power button and the volume up button on the side of the Xperia XZ until the screen turns off.

  • The Xperia XZ will automatically reboot.

  • If this screen appears, enter the pincode and choose the tick symbol.
  • If this screen does not appear, go to the next step.

  • If this screen appears, drag the lock symbol up to unlock it.
  • If this screen does not appear, go to the next step.

  • The Xperia XZ has been rebooted.

  • With a hard reset, the device is reset to the factory settings.
